Mate, congrats for your initiative. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me, as there is almost nobody here from this side of the Atlantic where I live (I mean Europe, not talking about Britain). One hint for yourself: Meetic is quite expensive, but they DO have a filtering tool. Good luck there mate, and I will keep searching as well. All the best!

I feel uncomfortable to read here and there the "written tone" that had been set up on this site. The "tone" sounds offensive and I don't like it. It's disrespectful to the members. When I signed up, It was funny to read, but now I don't think it is.

First of all, this is the first time I've seen this site, and I think it's great. I have never had the burning desire to have children, and most of the women I have actually dated felt the same way.
I want to point out that Theodore Geisel, who wrote under the pseudonym Dr. Seuss, and his wife were childfree by choice. Never wanted kids, either of them.

well because I'm like every other ass hole out there and I think my opinion matters and think that I should let people know. I love this site I'm so tired of having people think you have to have kids to be happy and for thous of you that think that we don't like kids and that is the reason we don't want them you are wrong. We just hate your kids and you because you think we are ass for not buying into your my kids are perfect and the most importent thing in the world and the thing that pisses me off the most WE HAVE TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN.

Reason for cancelling: I really didn't like the nature of the questions--things I would much rather discuss in private with a date. Post my weight on a website? You must be joking. I'm not overweight, but it's very embarassing--makes me feel like a piece of merchandise. I also didn't like the question about what I would do in the case of accidental pregnancy. What does that have to do with my future relationship? I don't think anyone really knows how they would react in a situation like that unless it happened. This isn't the kind of site I'd like to belong to, thanks anyway.

Love the website as it's a choice to be childless. As a woman who doesn't have or want kids I want a man who doesn't have kids, which is next to impossible at my age of 44. I think people that have kids should be deleted off the site.

For years I just went along with all the family-babynalia-glorification-of-mommyhood-backlash retro regressive breeder bias without giving it much more mind than they gave to me - which was pretty much none.
No wonder newspapers are going out of business. And they are so blind to their death-by-irrelevance that they blame the internet! I don't want two articles a year on singles and the childfree, with a weekly column on families, another one on rugrat-oriented fun, and yet another one like Amy Dickinson, whom I have nicknamed "Breeders' Digest".
Now I WANT the media to make themselves relevant to me! TOo many broads are getting babymania and squeezing out babies, with less thought than I put into getting a cat.
There are other sites with strong "tones", from which a person with more than a pimple at the op of their spinal cord might actually learn something. Heartless Bitches International is just one.
I love this radical site. It's needed in a world of baby-worship, glorification of mommyhood, and babynalia.

For examples of tone, read some hate-filled, hostile attacks by parents against some childfree sites. (This is completely aside from their messed-up logic and ASSumptions!)
Like, *we* don't go protesting and saying hateful things on parenting sites. Those are just the way things are supposed to be, for breeders like God intended!
I didn't know about Theodore Geisel being childfree. A children's writer, even. Which is acceptable, but when someone asked me to do some fair-booth activity for kids at a company's fair, I told them, "I'm sorry, I don't do children".
Way to go Dr. Seuss!
